Public Panel Debate - The Reception and Integration of Refugees: A Task for Local Authorities?

Join us for this fascinating Public Panel Debate: 'The Reception and Integration of Refugees: A Task for Local Authorities?' co-organised by our "Cities of Refuge" Team and the "Global City" Project of the T.M.C. Asser Institute.

Prof Dr James Hathaway (University of Michigan) and Prof Dr Martha Davis (Northeastern University) will be accompanied in this panel by Prof Dr Barbara Oomen, Leader of the Cities of Refuge Project as moderator.

The Panel will discuss the rising role of cities in refugee reception-integration from an international legal and sociological perspective, a young topic which has been rapidly gaining momentum in academia, following developments on the ground, around the world.
