New: The Cities of Refuge Podcast!
On Human Rights Day, the Cities of Refuge research team officially launched its podcast of the same name. In the first full episode, Barbara Oomen and Moritz Baumgärtel discuss how local authorities in the Netherlands continue to push for a transfer of migrant children from Lesbos and other Greek islands and what lessons we can all draw from the Dutch debate.
From here on out, our podcast will provide a space where we discuss questions of migration with a focus on the role of cities and human rights implications.
